Gene Bell is the President and CEO of Gene Bell & Associates, Inc. He provides personal and business tax preparation and planning; as well as wealth management services.
Gene is an Enrolled Agent (EA) with the Internal Revenue Service, and is also a Certified Financial Planner(CFP)®. He is an Accredited Tax Preparer (ATP) with the Accreditation Council for Accountancy and Taxation, an Investment Advisor Representative through Avantax Advisory ServicesSM, and is Insurance licensed in the state of Washington. Gene earned is NTPI Fellow® designation from the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA) for completing the three levels of the National Tax Practice Institute (NTPI®). This achievement demonstrates his dedication to protecting taxpayer rights and attests to his expertise in tax.
As a past president and a current member of the Washington Association of Accountants (WAA) Gene is active in many organizations including, the National Society of Accountants (NSA), National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA), Financial Planning Association (FPA), and the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers (AIPB). He is also a Mentor in the Field Leaders Program with Avantax Investment ServicesSM.
A practiced public speaker, Gene has presented entertaining, instructional and informative presentations to several professional organizations; including being an NSA featured speaker at IRS Tax Forums, and speaking to lawmakers at Washington’s Capital.
Gene was born in Ohio and is a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoys fly-fishing and golf. His favorite authors include, Groucho Marx, Steven Covey and John Maxwell.
